The Journey That Led Me Here

A personal story of resilience, purpose, and the vision to help others build the families they dream of.

My Journey

I always believed that if I worked hard, built a stable life, married, and waited for the right time, starting a family would naturally follow. For years, I dedicated myself to my career and building the world I always wanted, trusting that when the moment was right, everything would fall into place.

But life had other plans.

After facing divorce, heartbreak, betrayal, and even loss over the years in my 20s and 30s, I found myself on a path I never expected — and the dream of having a family became more complicated as time passed by. While working full-time shift work on the railway as a track certifier and safety officer, I took on every extra overtime shift I  could, and even served as an Army Reservist with the Defence Force Australia as a supply coordinator, just to keep busy. Despite my commitment, I eventually realised that if I wanted a family, I needed to start planning for it today.

When Life Took a Different Turn

When I explored in vitro fertilisation (IVF), I was confronted by the emotional strain and financial reality—up to $10,000 per cycle in Australia, with no guarantees of  success. Adoption presented its own barriers: years-long waiting periods, high costs,  and strict eligibility criteria that weren’t always supportive of single parents. I was not prepared for my reality.

The more I searched for answers, the clearer it became, there were no platforms offering the guidance, resources, and safe connections people desperately needed.  Questions about legal documentation, medical assistance, international connections,  and long-term responsibilities had no simple answers. I found myself navigating not just personal challenges, but also the overwhelming reality of declining global fertility rates and the lack of open conversation around it.

After 6 months of due diligence—seeking legal and accounting advice, comparing quotes, and trying to find clarity in a system that had none—I made the decision to create what I had been searching for.
